The Bristol Practices

Patients and staff in the two practices receive regular newsletters about the Whiteladies Health-Share Project and are invited to participate in money-raising activities to support the work in India.  Many members of the practices have visited the Institute and have first hand experience of the work there.

Our Aims

The Whiteladies Health-Share Project was started in 1984 to link a Bristol health centre with the Institute of Health Management at Pachod in Maharashtra, India.  Patients and staff at the health centre wanted to learn about health care and development issues and to raise money to support the work of the Institute.  The original health centre practices have now developed into two separate practices, The Whiteladies Medical Practice and The Family Practice at Western College and both support the charity.
